I'll be DJing Dorian's Parlor for its one-year anniversary event, which takes place on Saturday, July 16th at the Doubletree Hotel in Philly. There's live performances by This Way to the Egress, HVBRIS, and Voltaire, G.D. Falksen's book release party for Blood In The Skies, a fashion show by The House of Carney, tuns of door prizes, and lots of other assorted Steampunk goodness. Dorian's Parlor is a sensuous spectacle of vintage glamour shining in the heart of Philadelphia. Housed at the Doubtletree Hotel on the Avenue of the Arts, this event is a haven for artists, bohemians, socialites and neo-vintage lovers of all stripes and inclinations. The gorgeous event space housing the party features both a grand ballroom and an outdoor patio for a mix of moods and climates.

Each month, Dorian's Parlor will showcase the best in night life and artistic entertainment. For those not familiar with Diabolique Ball, it is a charity benefit with a themed fetish-styled event (this year's theme will be "Quack! Medical Mayhem and Chicanery"). This year's main beneficiaries are; Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation, Project SAFE, and Mazzoni Center LGBTQ Youth Drop-In Clinic.

Dark Entries is now a monthly event starting this month (November), and will take place the first Thursday of the month. This is something I've been working on to make happen since the night's first inception as Time Warp. I've just been added to the DJ lineup for the 2009 Diabolique Ball, which is a long running charity masquerade ball and is organized by the fine folks at PASSIONAL. Each year the event runs on a theme, this year's being Steampunk, so it should be a fun time. After well over a decade of there being a "Dave Ghoul", there's now a site to represent the fiendish DJ. This is obviously full of ass-kickery indeed.

Right now the site is being soft launched so there's a few things not finished. But in the next few days they will be.

Also, everything else from the old ZMP blog has been nuked.
